Senior Authorised Person (Electrical)

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Authorised Person (Electrical) required to support large-scale power, substation and electrical framework projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with EHSQ policies and procedures.
• Support site management with records, reporting and equipment requirements.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards and compliance.
• Diagnose faults using appropriate testing equipment and tools.
• Work with circuit breakers, transformers, CT/VTs, cabling and associated components.
• Test electrical systems, wiring, equipment and circuit continuity.
• Plan electrical wiring, equipment and fixture installations to project specifications.
• Oversee the assembly, installation and testing of electrical equipment and components.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Authorised Person (AP) or Person in Charge of Work (PICW).
• Supervisory experience on live substations at 33kV or above is essential.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Full Irish driving licence.
