Lead manufacturing excellence in downstream processing (DSP) operations, driving performance, quality, and continuous improvement in a highly dynamic biopharmaceutical environment. The full list of our global benefits can be found here: https://www.lonza.com/careers/benefits What you will do: Lead and supervise a team of operations personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce Plan, organize, and monitor daily operational processes, including production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow management Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain, to optimize performance and resolve issues Implement and enforce safety protocols, GMP, quality standards, and regulatory compliance Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) Monitor KPIs and prepare reports, driving data-based decisions and corrective actions Manage operational budgets and support training and development of team members What we are looking for: Experience in manufacturing or pharmaceutical operations, including leadership responsibilities Strong understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve operational excellence Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma) Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills Educational background in engineering, life sciences, business, or related field, or equivalent experience Fluency in English; German is a plus About Lonza At Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
