POSITION OVERVIEW

We are hiring a Senior Community Manager for our client, a privately held owner and operator of high-end residential real estate, to lead one of its flagship luxury high-rise communities in Denver. In this role, you will take full ownership of resident experience, day-to-day operations, financial performance, and team leadership at a premier Class A property known for its upscale amenities, complex building systems, and elevated service expectations.

This position is ideal for an accomplished multifamily leader who has run large-scale, high-rise communities and led sizable onsite teams. You will act as the property's chief steward, safeguarding its reputation and performance while staying closely aligned with ownership's priorities and standards.

This is a direct-hire, onsite leadership opportunity in Denver, CO, paying $130K base depending on experience, plus 15% bonus eligibility. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive execution of the property's business plan and annual operating goals in step with ownership and organizational priorities.
  • Track key performance indicators and deliver timely, accurate reporting to support decision-making.
  • Manage revenue, expenses, and controllable costs to hit or exceed NOI and overall performance targets.
  • Weigh in on pricing and market positioning to optimize occupancy, rent growth, and leasing pace.
  • Produce weekly operating updates and monthly financial reports, including variance analysis and action plans.
  • Build and manage the annual budget using Yardi or a comparable property management platform.
  • Oversee receivables, collections, payables, vendor agreements, and financial recordkeeping with accuracy and strong controls.
  • Direct daily operations to keep the community safe, well-kept, and running at a high standard.
  • Oversee sophisticated building infrastructure, including central plant systems, coordinating closely with engineering, maintenance, and specialty vendors.
  • Select and manage third-party vendors, negotiate agreements, and hold partners accountable for quality and timeliness.
  • Support capital projects, renovations, and unit upgrades to ensure on-time, on-scope delivery.
  • Respond to property emergencies and urgent situations, ensuring quick resolution and clear communication with residents and leadership.
  • Foster a resident-first culture with prompt, professional, and solution-oriented service.
  • Manage the property's online reputation, responding to reviews in line with brand standards.
  • Drive leasing and retention results through timely follow-up, rent collection discipline, and occupancy focus.
  • Own performance management for the property team, including goal setting, feedback, coaching, and development planning.
  • Ensure full compliance with Fair Housing and applicable regulations, identifying and mitigating risk proactively.
  • Hold the team accountable for delivering service that matches the property's premium positioning.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, real estate, hospitality, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive property management leadership experience, with at least 5 years managing a Class A luxury multifamily community.
  • Experience leading teams of 10 or more.
  • A track record of tenure and stability in prior roles, ideally within Class A, luxury, high-rise multifamily operations.
  • Hands-on experience managing high-rise residential properties with sophisticated building systems and high service expectations.
  • Familiarity overseeing central plant operations and coordinating with engineering and maintenance partners.
  • Experience supporting leasing, renewals, and sales-oriented resident engagement.
  • Solid working knowledge of Fair Housing requirements and standard property operations.
  • Comfort with reporting tools, Yardi or similar property management software, and standard digital communication platforms.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience handling property emergencies, life-safety events, resident escalations, and business continuity situations.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to satisfy employment verification requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills across a range of audiences.
  • Ability to interpret financial reports and translate data into action.
  • Strong organization and follow-through in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.

IDEAL CANDIDATE (PLUSES)

  • CAM, CAPS, CPM, or an equivalent professional designation.
  • Experience with luxury or institutional-quality multifamily assets in major metro markets.
  • Experience overseeing communities of 500+ units in complex operating environments.
  • A track record of improving online reputation scores and resident satisfaction metrics.
  • Executive presence, with the ability to engage residents, ownership, vendors, and corporate leadership effectively.
  • Open to relocating to the Denver area for the right opportunity.
