An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Derivatives Trader to join a growing and ambitious Hedging & Derivatives Trading team in Cyprus.

This is a key front-office role focused on biofuels, feedstocks, freight and oil derivatives, where you will develop and execute hedging strategies, manage risk across physical exposures, and play a pivotal role in expanding a rapidly growing trading platform.

What You'll Be Doing

· Execute and manage derivatives positions across biofuels, feedstocks, freight and oil markets.

· Develop and optimise hedging strategies using futures, swaps and other derivative instruments.

· Manage risk arising from physical trading activities and ensure effective paper hedging.

· Price internal flows and manage resulting market exposure.

· Work closely with Physical Trading, Risk, Operations and Finance teams.

· Analyse market fundamentals, positioning, liquidity, freight and pricing dynamics.

· Take ownership of the full trade lifecycle, including execution, reporting and P&L.

· Help build and develop the firm's derivatives capability across biofuels and feedstocks.

What We're Looking For

· 5+ years' derivatives trading experience within a bank, commodity trading house or major energy company

· Proven experience trading oil, biofuel or feedstock derivatives

· Strong knowledge of futures and swaps

· Experience hedging physical commodity exposures

· Excellent understanding of both physical and paper commodity markets

· Experience working within defined risk limits and governance frameworks

· Options experience is advantageous
