Core Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior Designer, Knitwear & Seamless, where you'll leverage deep manufacturing expertise and global factory partnerships to create innovative knitwear and seamless product, unlocking new stitch structures, engineered knit solutions, seamless constructions, and yarn technologies across Lifestyle and Athletic categories.
Working across both Lifestyle and Athletic teams, you will support the design of knitwear and seamless product , bringing deep technical expertise, innovative thinking, and a strong design point of view. You will own key styles and categories from concept through design execution, creating elevated product that blends performance, comfort, versatility, and modern style.
This role requires extensive knowledge of knitwear and seamless construction, including yarns, stitch structures, engineered knit, and seamless technologies. You understand how knit innovation can enhance fit, movement, comfort, and aesthetic, and you are passionate about translating technical possibilities into product that resonates with our guests.
You will collaborate closely with Development, Technical Design, Materials, Merchandising, and Innovation teams, bringing clarity to design intent while helping shape the future of knitwear and seamless across the business.
- Create and evolve knitwear and seamless product across Lifestyle and Athletic categories, creating elevated product that balances innovation, functionality, and modern style.
- Leverage deep expertise in knit construction, yarn selection, stitch development, and seamless engineering to create innovative and differentiated product .
- Build strong relationships with manufacturing partners across Asia and Europe, partnering with factory teams to explore new knit structures, yarn innovations, seamless technologies, and construction opportunities.
- Design modern silhouettes that enhance movement, comfort, fit , and versatility.
- Translate creative concepts into sketches, CADs, stitch maps, and technical design packages that clearly communicate design intent.
- Partner closely with PD, TD, Merchandising, and Innovation teams to ensure design intent is understood and executed to a high standard.
- Research and explore new knit structures, yarn technologies, and seamless innovations that elevate the assortment and guest experience.
- Contribute to seasonal concepts, colour stories, and design direction informed by movement, culture, and modern lifestyles.
- Champion craftsmanship, technical excellence, and innovation across all product.
- Mentor and support junior designers, fostering curiosity, collaboration, and technical growth.
Qualifications
- A highly skilled knitwear designer with deep technical expertise and a strong creative perspective.
- Experienced designing across both lifestyle and athletic product , with the ability to create versatile solutions for different guest needs.
- Passionate about knitwear and seamless innovation, with a strong understanding of how construction and materials influence fit, function, and aesthetics.
- Collaborative and confident working with cross-functional partners, communicating design intent with clarity and conviction.
- Curious, forward-thinking, and motivated by creating product that combines innovation with lasting relevance.

Compensation And Benefits Package
lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from
$129,000-169,300 CAD annually ; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
