(circa 10% of salary per annum) Key Responsibilities What You'll Be Doing As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll provide technical leadership across a range of projects and responsibilities, including: Leading the development and delivery of complex electrical engineering designs and solutions Acting as a trusted technical specialist and providing guidance to project teams Supporting multidisciplinary project delivery from concept through to execution Reviewing engineering deliverables and ensuring technical excellence, quality and compliance Developing engineering standards, procedures and best practices Managing technical scope, quality, budgets and schedules for assigned workstreams Collaborating closely with clients, project managers and engineering teams to deliver successful outcomes Supporting business development and helping identify future opportunities with existing and new clients Mentoring and developing engineers across the team, helping build future technical capability Contributing to solutions that address complex infrastructure and energy challenges globally Preferred Qualifications Desirable Experience Experience in one or more of the following areas would be advantageous: Power Generation Transmission & Distribution Grid Infrastructure Renewable Energy Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Industrial Facilities Data Centres Energy Transition Projects Minimum Qualifications What We're Looking For: We'd love to hear from candidates who have: A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline Significant post-graduate engineering experience, typically 8+ years Experience delivering complex electrical engineering projects Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills The ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams Experience providing technical leadership, mentoring or project guidance A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement Build a World of Difference: At Black & Veatch, our people are at the centre of everything we do.
