As a Senior Electrical Engineer – FPGA , you will play a key role on an Integrated Program Team (IPT), designing and developing sophisticated digital solutions for complex aerospace and defense systems. In this highly collaborative and hands-on role, you will contribute across the full development lifecycle, including FPGA architecture and design, RTL development, verification, timing closure, laboratory integration, hardware fault isolation, and system qualification testing. What You Will Do Requirements capture, FPGA digital architecture and design using RTL, timing closure, verification, and system integration Optimize FPGA implementations to meet performance, power, and size constraints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA solutions into larger systems Follow all applicable development processes, procedures, and guidelines Participate in Agile team meetings and planning activities Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers May provide technical leadership for project design teams by breaking down work, planning activities, and reporting status Contribute to engineering estimates for new program pursuits Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance Demonstrated experience developing RTL designs using VHDL and/or Verilog in a professional FPGA or ASIC development environment. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
