The Role
As a Senior Engineer – Bridges & Structures, you will provide technical expertise and project delivery leadership across a diverse portfolio of bridge and structural infrastructure projects. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the planning, analysis, design and delivery of complex transport infrastructure projects throughout North Queensland and across Australia.
In This Role, You Will
- Deliver bridge and structural design solutions across all project phases.
- Undertake structural analysis, design calculations and technical reviews.
- Prepare reports, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve integrated project outcomes.
- Support project delivery to programme, budget and quality objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Mentor and support graduate and developing engineers.
- Contribute to business development, proposals and technical excellence initiatives.
About You
You are an experienced structural engineer with a passion for delivering innovative and practical infrastructure solutions. You enjoy solving complex engineering challenges, working collaboratively and supporting the development of others.
You Will Bring
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 6-8 years’ experience delivering bridge and structural engineering projects.
- Experience undertaking structural analysis, design and assessment.
- Strong knowledge of relevant Australian standards and design codes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and client outcomes.
- RPEQ registration or active progression towards registration.
