Senior Fertility Nurse @Ovom Care

Our clinic in Cascais brings together leading specialists in a modern, patient-centred environment. We're growing our nursing team and looking for a dedicated Junior Fertility Nurse to join us. Your role This is a hands-on clinical role at our world-leading fertility clinic. You'll work closely with our doctors, embryologists, and other nurses to support patients through every stage of their fertility journey, from initial consultations through stimulation, procedures, and beyond. We offer flexibility: this position can be structured as part-time or full-time depending on your availability and experience. What You'll Do Prepare and support patients for follicular monitoring appointments, egg retrievals, and embryo transfers Administer and teach patients to self-administer fertility medications (FSH, GnRH agonists/antagonists, hCG triggers, progesterone support) Perform blood draws and coordinate cycle monitoring including ultrasound assistance Provide individualised patient education and emotional support throughout treatment cycles Maintain accurate electronic medical records and cycle documentation Liaise with lab teams, physicians, and external referring partners Support informed consent processes and pre/post-procedure care Respond to patient queries via phone and digital channels Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements Your profile Nursing degree (Licenciatura em Enfermagem) and valid registration with the Ordem dos Enfermeiros 2 to 5 years of experience Strong interpersonal skills compassion and clear communication are essential in this field Native or fluent Portuguese (required) English at C1 level or above (required - used daily with international patients and our multidisciplinary team) Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinic environment with rotating or flexible scheduling Comfortable working with technology and AI-transcription tools in your daily work Nice to Have Prior experience or placement in gynaecology, obstetrics, or endocrinology Familiarity with IVF treatment protocols or ART procedures Additional language skills (Spanish, French, or others) What we offer A supportive, close-knit team with experienced mentors Continued professional development in reproductive medicine A meaningful role helping people build their families Modern clinic environment in Cascais, on Portugal's stunning Estoril Coast Competitive salary commensurate with experience Flexible scheduling (part-time or full-time) About us We are an equal-opportunity employer and value diversity.
