Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Specialist to serve as a strategic finance business partner for a cloud services organization.
This role sits at the intersection of finance, cloud infrastructure, technology investment, and business strategy. You will take ownership of financial planning, forecasting, cloud service economics, internal pricing, cost allocation, infrastructure investment analysis, and AI investment performance tracking.
Rather than simply reporting financial results, you will influence key business decisions by challenging assumptions, developing insights, and driving financial optimization across a complex cloud environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for cloud infrastructure services
- Own cloud service financial models, unit economics, and cost allocation methodologies
- Analyze infrastructure investments, hardware depreciation, CapEx and OpEx structures
- Develop and improve internal pricing, chargeback, and showback frameworks
- Evaluate AI and technology investments and track realized business value
- Partner closely with engineering, product, operations, and senior leadership teams
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives
- Enhance financial dashboards, reporting automation, and decision-support tools

Target Requirements
Must Have
- 6+ years of FP&A, management accounting, corporate finance, or finance business partnering experience
- Experience supporting technology, infrastructure, cloud, telecommunications, data center, or similar industries
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling skills
- Experience with CapEx, fixed assets, capitalization, and depreciation analysis
- Experience with cost allocation, chargeback/showback, or internal pricing methodologies
- Ability to influence technical and operational stakeholders using data-driven financial insights
- Business-level English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) or private cloud environments
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, virtualization, containers, or platform services
- Experience evaluating technology investment business cases and ROI
- Exposure to AI-related investment analysis or value realization programs
- Advanced Excel, BI, SQL, or data analytics skills
- FP&A, accounting, FinOps, CPA, CMA, or related certifications
- Business-level Japanese
