About the Role We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with 3+ years of software engineering experience to take ownership of projects across the entire technology stack.

You will work on greenfield products, contribute to backend architecture and infrastructure, and build end-to-end features in a TypeScript-first environment running on AWS.

This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys moving quickly, solving complex technical problems, and working closely with engineering leadership and the founding team. What You'll Do

• Own and deliver greenfield projects across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Build and ship end-to-end features using TypeScript and AWS.
• Design, build, and scale high-throughput distributed systems.
• Evolve backend architecture as the platform grows from thousands to millions of candidate interactions.
• Build reliable, observable, and highly available systems for mission-critical applications.
• Collaborate directly with the Director of Engineering and founding team.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and technical culture as an early member of the engineering team.
• Work in short development and feedback cycles and quickly iterate based on real-world user feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Strong foundation in Python.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript across the frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Experience building and scaling distributed systems in production.
• Experience with high-throughput systems, observability, monitoring, reliability, and production infrastructure.
• At least 2 years of experience working at an early-stage, VC-backed startup.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong ownership mentality and ability to build products from scratch.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Low-ego approach to engineering and willingness to change direction when presented with better technical arguments.
• Must be based in New York City and able to work in the office Monday–Thursday.

Nice to Have

• Experience at a major technology company or tier-one startup such as Ramp or Stripe.
• Experience building or deploying AI applications, LLMs, or machine learning pipelines in production.
• Experience working on healthcare technology or recruiting platforms.
