Conduct operational assessments, facility evaluations, and strategic or campus planning studies. Present planning recommendations to clinicians, administrators, executive leaders, and other project stakeholders. Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare codes, licensing requirements, accreditation standards, FGI Guidelines, life-safety requirements, and healthcare building systems. Strong facilitation, stakeholder engagement, consensus-building, and client relationship skills. The ability to communicate complex planning concepts clearly through verbal, written, graphic, and presentation formats. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing competing project priorities. Strategic judgment and a collaborative approach to solving complex healthcare design challenges. Familiarity with Revit, BIM-based project delivery, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and related planning and documentation tools. Qualifications Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an accredited program. Approximately 10 or more years of relevant healthcare planning and design experience. Demonstrated leadership responsibility on complex healthcare projects. Experience planning hospitals or other complex healthcare facilities. Experience working directly with healthcare clients, clinical user groups, and multidisciplinary design teams. Additional experience in acute-care hospital projects, healthcare master planning, architectural licensure, executive presentations, design-build delivery, or healthcare credentials such as ACHA, EDAC, or LEED AP is valued but not required. We recognize that qualified candidates may bring different combinations of experience and expertise. We encourage you to apply even if your background does not align with every preferred qualification. To apply, please complete the online application.
