Management Level: P5 Summary: To effectively support West Coast customers, preferred candidates will be located in the Western U.S. Springdale, AR will also be considered. This position supports the McDonald’s western region. As a contributing team member, the Senior Sales Account Manager will report directly to a Director of Sales (DOS). The position will have regular interactions with the DOS and other regional sales managers while focused on cultivating relationships with in the McDonald’s business . This person will be accountable for building relationships , selling in new items , negotiating contracts and prioritizing efforts against plan. This position is expected to work cross functionally with in the McDonald’s Business Unit, as well as other business units at Tyson to build new business , protect the core business , and create a competitive advantage while attaining mix and volume targets within our value-added product tiers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and nurture professional relationships with in assigned McDonald’s territory to achieve business objectives. Gather and maintain key insight for all assigned accounts including: size of business product opportunities competitive set timing and potential hurdles. Track progress using the tools provided reporting status so all applicable parties are aware. Manage all strategic initiatives. Provide sales support at customer events. This may include but is not limited to: product sampling and presenting key features and benefits. Must be able to deliver against your volume goals and executive price strategies within the market place manage spend associated with the volume and manage the mix of product sold. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Experience: Minimum 7 years outside sales experience Food Service Food Service Manufacturing or Distributor Sales Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills Special Skills: Strategic thinking negotiation skills understanding of motivational leadership skills conflict resolution skills Computer Skills : Experience with Microsoft Office products Travel : 30 - 50 Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America) For Professional Management levels, internal applicants should either upload a resume to their application OR complete their application fully showing current and past work experience in the sections provided.
