We have a fantastic and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Senior Mine Surveyor to join the Underground Technical Team at the Mt Charlotte Operation. The role is offered on an 4 /3 roster, and this position can be either residential in Kalgoorlie as the ‘heart of the goldfields’ with relocation expenses covered, or as a FIFO role ex Perth . Here's what awaits you: Develop, lead and provide professional development guidance to the Mine Surveyors. Ensure the development and maintenance of up to date job procedures and practice standards for tasks performed within the team. Lay out and maintain survey reference marks underground for control of drive development and stripping, stopping, service holes, rises and diamond drilling programs. Regular surveys to control major underground features (eg. decline dimensions, gradient and directions, stope drive levels and orientations and long hole stopes). Produce accurate monthly records for all underground workings with advance and stripping progress, surface excavations and ore stockpiles. Deliver accurate end of month figures and maintenance of mine survey records. To thrive in this role, you'll need: Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as Underground Surveyor Demonstrated proficiency using Deswik packages (CAD & MDM). Experienced user of Leica Total Stations and survey instrumentations. Deep understanding in Underground Drone surveys using Emesent Hovermap and Carlson Cals void scanners. A natural leader with a history of managing large teams, keeping them engaged, motivated, and results-focused. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Surveying. Authorised Mine Surveyor's Certificate of Competency - Grade 1 (desireable). Manual Driver's license - Class C.
