Department Overview The Supply Chain Services Procurement Team works with the Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and other critical functional teams to create and execute the product outsourcing strategy. The team manages a pool of qualified suppliers to support and enable our business' outsourcing needs. Job Description We are looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist, with at least 2-3 years related experience in suppliers management. The responsibilities of the Senior Procurement Specialist includes but not limited to the: Execution of the Category Strategy Overall suppliers management, including suppliers relationships ownership RFQ process, cost negotiations and project awards Contract negotiations Escalation point for internal operation teams On-going drive for cost improvement and annual cost reduction Hosting Quarterly Business Review (QBR) Basic Requirements In order to be successful, the candidate has to have: At least a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or Business Administration or any related field Minimum 3 years prior related experience with proven track records in managing suppliers. Effective problem solving skills, strong negotiation skills and excellent communication skills with proven ability to work with people from various levels and functions. Strong data analysis skills and good understanding in forecasting methods. High proficiency in AI and MS Office / Google Documents; specifically, advance MS Excel / Google Sheets skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Prior project management experience will be an added advantage Energetic, Positive, and a Team Player personality. Willing to work full time in one of our offices in Penang or on hybrid mode.
