What to Expect: RBI’s Export & Agency Finance (EAF) team originates, structures and executes tailored cross-border financing solutions for leading corporate and institutional clients across sectors and geographies. Working closely with a broad network of export credit agencies (ECAs), multilateral institutions and commercial banks, we support export-related transactions and investment finance across industries and jurisdictions. By combining RBI’s corporate banking franchise with deep expertise in ECA-backed structures, we provide attractive financing solutions with substantial credit enhancement and clear strategic value for our clients. As a Senior Specialist in Export & Agency Finance, you will take front-office responsibility for originating, structuring and executing transactions for RBI’s corporate and institutional clients. You will advise clients on strategic projects supported by ECAs, multilateral institutions and development finance providers, while staying involved throughout the full transaction lifecycle — from initial client discussions and structuring to credit approval, documentation, negotiation and closing. This role offers the opportunity to work on highly visible international transactions, gain direct exposure to clients and institutional partners, and contribute to the further growth of RBI’s Export & Agency Finance franchise. What you will do: Advise corporate and institutional clients on ECA-backed and investment financing solutions. Originate and structure tailored cross-border financing solutions with ECAs, multilateral institutions and development finance providers. Prepare financing proposals, term sheets and transaction presentations, and lead negotiations and documentation. Coordinate with Coverage, Credit Risk, Legal, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure efficient transaction execution. Support RBI’s network banks worldwide and contribute to market intelligence, client engagement and business growth. What you bring to the table: Experience in corporate lending, structured finance, project finance, infrastructure finance or a related financing area. Direct experience with ECA-backed transactions is an advantage, but not a must; motivation to grow into this specialized field is equally important. Experience coordinating structured transactions with internal and external stakeholders. Strong commercial judgement and the ability to assess complex financing opportunities. Effective communication, sales skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders. Strong organizational and digital skills, and a university degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law or a related discipline. Fluency in English is required; German and other language skills are considered an advantage. Competitive salary: In accordance with Austrian legal requirements, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 3725,93 gross per month under the applicable Banking Collective Agreement.
