Job Summary Monona Plumbing & Fire Protection is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Plumbing Contract Division. We're looking for someone who has successfully managed commercial plumbing construction projects and can jump in quickly, take ownership of work, and become a trusted leader within our department. You'll partner closely with our Department Manager, help lead some of our most important projects, mentor less experienced project managers, and build strong relationships with customers, general contractors, and field teams. If you're highly organized, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy winning work while delivering exceptional projects, we'd love to talk. What you'll do You'll help drive projects from preconstruction through closeout while supporting the overall success of the department. Responsibilities include: Manage multiple commercial plumbing construction projects from estimating through closeout. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, engineers, vendors, and field personnel. Review contracts, budgets, schedules, job costs, and project financials to keep projects on track and profitable. Work closely with the Department Manager to solve project challenges, prioritize work, and support department goals. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project managers and project engineers. Review estimates, participate in bid reviews, and help identify new project opportunities. Partner with field leadership to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and with a high level of quality. Participate in customer meetings, project planning, and business development activities. Help improve department processes and contribute ideas that make the team stronger. What we're looking for We're looking for someone who can contribute immediately and become a trusted resource for both our customers and our team. You might be a great fit if you: Enjoy taking ownership and solving problems. Build trust naturally with customers, field teams, and coworkers. Like mentoring others without spending all day managing people. Are hungry for challenging projects and take pride in delivering excellent work. Want to help shape the future of a growing plumbing division. Qualifications 7-10+ years of commercial plumbing construction project management experience. Experience managing commercial plumbing projects from estimating through project completion. Strong understanding of contracts, scheduling, budgeting, job costing, change orders, and project financial management. Ability to independently manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. A collaborative, team-first approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed. Previous experience mentoring project managers or project engineers. Experience identifying new project opportunities and supporting business development. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. Foremen or Superintendents with significant in-office project management responsibilities are encouraged to apply.
