Change Recruitment is 4.5 years old.

The role

This is a senior 360 tech recruitment role with real ownership.

Current focus areas include:

• AI
• Data Engineering
• Data Centre / Infra
• SAP
• Project Services
• Executive Search

Around 70% of the role is business development, but it’s structured and supported, not random activity for the sake of it.

You’ll be:

• Building and owning a specialist tech market
• Developing long-term client relationships
• Running multiple roles at pace, without chaos
• Headhunting and mapping markets properly
• Growing a desk that’s sustainable and profitable

How we support strong billers

We’ve invested heavily in tools and systems designed to remove friction, so experienced recruiters can focus on the parts of the job that actually drive revenue.

That includes:

• Transparent pricing upfront, so sales conversations are cleaner
• Tools that generate job ads, marketing content and Boolean strings straight from job briefs
• Market mapping solutions that speed up niche desk development
• Automated lead signals to help you prioritise the right conversations
• A CRM that reduces admin and improves search accuracy
• Clear visibility over commission and pipeline, in real time

The package

• Up to 50% commission, uncapped
• Zero threshold
• 50% triggered at $180k billed per quarter
• Average fee around $29k
• Monthly bonuses and incentives
• Two international trips per year
• Quarterly individual and team incentives
• Hybrid working model (Surry Hills office)

This will suit you if:

• You have 3+ years’ experience in tech recruitment
• You’re comfortable with BD and relationship building
• You want autonomy, but not isolation
• You care about earnings and longevity
• You like working with driven, grounded people

• You want a fully inherited desk
• You’re looking for a low-accountability role
• You dislike being measured or coached
• You want pace without responsibility

We can offer sponsorship, for people outside of the country, alongside taking over Visa's inside Australia. We are set up for both 482 & training Visas.
