Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 Base Salary

Prime Team Partners is partnering with a well-funded Seattle startup to hire a Senior Software Engineer who wants to build cutting-edge AI products from the ground up.

What You'll Do

 Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python

 Architect APIs, data models, and platform infrastructure

 Integrate and optimize LLMs and AI-powered workflows in production

 Build systems that are reliable, secure, observable, and highly performant

 Partner closely with product and leadership to shape product direction

 Contribute across the stack when needed, including React and TypeScript applications

 Evaluate new AI technologies and rapidly bring innovations into production

 Help define engineering best practices in a growing startup environment

What We're Looking For

 5+ years of professional software engineering experience

 Strong backend development experience with Python

 Experience building cloud-native applications (AWS preferred)

 Experience designing APIs and scalable distributed systems

 Passion for AI and modern AI-assisted development workflows

 Strong product mindset and willingness to contribute beyond coding

 Ability to thrive in ambiguity and move quickly with limited direction

 Prior startup experience strongly preferred

Nice to Have

 Experience working with LLMs, AI agents, LangChain, RAG, or related AI technologies

 React and TypeScript experience

 Terraform or infrastructure-as-code experience

 Experience building data-intensive applications

 Experience with consumer products, gamification, or highly engaging user experiences
