Position Responsibilities Lead the development, analysis, and integration of complex system requirements and architectures, ensuring alignment with customer and regulatory expectations. Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to deliver seamless system design, implementation, and verification solutions. Develop and execute system verification and validation plans, including support for flight test activities and certification efforts. Collaborate closely with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers to capture, clarify, and manage evolving system requirements. Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies to uphold system safety, reliability, and compliance. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering professional growth and continuous improvement. Document system designs, trade studies, and technical analyses to support informed decision-making and program reviews. Support certification, compliance, and production readiness activities in coordination with cross-organizational partners. This position is 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance post-start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement Minimum of 9 years’ professional experience in systems engineering or related technical roles within aerospace, defense, or similarly regulated industries. Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering lifecycle activities, including requirements development, architecture design, verification & validation, and risk management. Proficiency with systems engineering tools such as DOORS, Excel-based planning tools, and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience with interface control documents (ICDs), functional and logical architecture development, and systems specification. Proficiency in System Architecture and Modeling tools such as CAMEO/MSOSA and IBM DOORS. Expertise in requirements management, verification & validation, and traceability techniques and tools. Proven skills in risk, issue, and opportunity management within complex engineering programs. Experience leading system design reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) and managing technical milestone gate processes. Hands-on experience with systems integration and test, including lab, ground, and flight test environments. Familiarity with Airworthiness and Certification regulations (FAA, EASA, Military). INCOSE Certification or equivalent professional credential is strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in mentoring and leading early to mid-career engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
