You’ll own the system architecture and functional safety of our Remote Driving platform, shaping how our vehicles behave in real-world, safety-critical scenarios. Working at the intersection of hardware, software, and vehicle integration, you’ll play a key role in bringing a completely new category of mobility to life. What you'll be driving You’ll take ownership of the system and safety backbone of our Remote Driving technology, ensuring it performs reliably and safely at scale. Define and evolve system architecture and requirements across ECUs, motion control, connectivity, and cloud interfaces Design and validate safety mechanisms including redundancy, fail-safe/fail-operational behavior, and minimum risk manoeuvres Plan and execute vehicle-level testing to validate system performance and safety responses in real-world conditions Develop monitoring frameworks and dashboards to track system health, detect faults, and minimize downtime Own the functional safety concept, deriving safety goals and building Functional and Technical Safety Concepts (ISO 26262) Build and maintain the safety case, ensuring readiness for audits and compliance across the full development lifecycle Lead safety analysis activities (HARA, FMEA, FTA) and ensure full traceability from hazard identification to verification What are we looking for You’re a systems thinker with a strong safety mindset, comfortable operating across disciplines and close to the vehicle when needed.
