AVOMIND Open Roles Senior Technical Writer (German Speaking) PH-23352 Manila, Metro Manila Work Type: Full Time Apply Now Tasks: As „Senior Technical Writer,” you will lead and supervise a growing team of technical authors and graphic designers at our Manila location. You will ensure consistent and high-quality work on projects and team objectives. You and your team will create, review, validate, and correct user manuals for consumer goods products. Together with our in-house content management team, you will develop content for our content management system. You will implement best practices for technical communication and documentation. You will contribute to the development of design guidelines, templates, and other documentation standards. You will stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and trends in technical communication. By continuously developing your technical skills and quality, you will ensure that you are always up to date. You will work closely with specialists from the departments of quality assurance, content management, graphic design, localization, project coordination, and sales. You will be in regular communication with our project coordination team to ensure project profitability goals. You will attend customer meetings as needed. A competitive salary package. Relocation assistance. Requirements: You speak fluent German & have experience writing in German You have 4 to 8 years of experience as a technical writer. You have obtained a degree in Technical Writing or at least 6 years of professional experience in technical editing. You passionately enjoy writing error-free technical texts in German. We also require very good knowledge of the English language (spoken and written). You can communicate complex technical concepts clearly and understandably. You have knowledge of relevant legal regulations, guidelines, and safety standards (desirable). You are a fan of the Adobe Suite (InDesign) or similar software. Experience with XML documentation is advantageous. You work well in a team, are innovative and proactive, and have a strong sense of responsibility. You are organized, detail-oriented, dynamic, and flexible. You can work both independently and in a team. You can work under tight schedules and under pressure. You have excellent communication skills. Logical thinking and analytical reasoning are important elements for experiencing success in this profession.
