About this role

As a Fullstack Software Engineer on the web team, you’ll drive revenue and company growth by bringing one of the fastest-growing mobile apps to the web. By owning the end‑to‑end web stack and our internal tools and dashboard, you’ll build our web infrastructure and create new opportunities for business growth. You’ll deliver a web version of Rips, our collectibles trading card app, and set the foundation for future web and Android. By setting the standards for this new platform, you’ll push the boundaries of what it means to be one of the fastest growing app in our category.

What You’ll Do

Establish our web platform, setting the foundation and standards for how we build future web and Android apps.
Utilize existing backend systems and infrastructure to create Rips for web in 3-6 months.
Define our team’s best practices and standards for React (potential to work on React Native as well).
Own all internal tools and our internal dashboard, making improvements that help the team be efficient and better use data to drive decision-making.
Partner with backend engineers to design APIs and data models, contributing to API designs and app performance.
Elevate UX with thoughtful motion, micro-interactions, and responsive design that feels native.

Required: 5+ years of experience in fullstack web engineering, with focus on React and TypeScript

Required: Owned frontend platform/standards for a consumer-facing web app

Hard skills

Required: Deep expertise in React and TypeScript (modern patterns, hooks, performance)

Required: Built polished UI with motion/animations and pixel-perfect Figma implementation

Miscellaneous

Required: Demonstrated ability to self-prioritize and ship fast in ambiguous, high-agency environments

Nice-to-have

Work experience

Nice to have: Experience in real-time features, payments, or consumer gaming apps

Education

Nice to have: No specific degree required

Hard skills

Nice to have: Experience partnering with backend engineers on API design and data models
