Qualified candidates will join our location in Belgrade, Serbia and work fully in-office . Candidates should currently reside in the European Union and be legally eligible to work in Serbia. We are currently looking for candidates who are fluent in both English and Serbian. Responsibilities As a Serbian / English Translator , you will support written translation, language review, and interpretation needs related to our work in Serbia. This role will help ensure that communications are accurate, clear, and appropriate across Serbian-speaking and English-speaking audiences. The right partner will do more than translate words from one language to another; they will help preserve meaning, tone, and context across languages and cultural contexts. Translate written materials between Serbian and English, including business communications, recruiting materials, onboarding content, training documents, and other operational materials. Review translated materials for accuracy, clarity, tone, consistency, and cultural appropriateness. Help ensure Serbian-language materials reflect the intended meaning of the original English content, rather than providing only literal translations. Provide live interpretation support for virtual or in-person meetings, interviews, training sessions, or other business discussions. Work with FAST team members to clarify terminology, context, and intended meaning when translating business or technical content. Maintain consistency in terminology and messaging across translated materials. Meet agreed-upon turnaround times while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Handle confidential business, candidate, and employee information with discretion. Qualifications Professional fluency in Serbian and English, including strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages. Experience translating professional business materials (preference will be given to those with experience related to tax administration, government services, system implementation, or other technical business processes). Ability to translate meaning, tone, and context accurately between Serbian and English, rather than providing only literal translations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality. Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate clearly about workload and availability. Comfort working with virtual collaboration tools and supporting remote work. Background supporting international businesses, multinational organizations, cross-border teams, or Serbian business and employment-related terminology.
