Automotive Technician Job Requirements:
Able to diagnose and repair automotive systems including engines, steering, brakes, suspension, transmission, and air conditioning. With Ford vehicles it requires following Ford’s diagnostic and repair recommendations
Perform inspection of customers’ vehicles and give necessary repair recommendations to service advisors
Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be quick to learn
Excellent oral and written communication skills and work effectively with the service advisors
Valid driver's license
Automotive Technician Skills and Qualifications:
3+ year dealership technician / mechanic experience
Need to identify client's concerns quickly
Able to learn new automotive technology; automotive repair & service procedures & specifications
Strong knowledge base of light trucks and medium duty trucks
Diesel Engine knowledge helpful and compensated
Valid Driver’s License
