Job Description Summary About This Role Some of the most complex energy infrastructure in the world doesn't run itself — someone has to bring it to life on the ground. As a Site Manager with GE Vernova's Hydro business, you are the central force on site: the person who keeps safety non-negotiable, schedules on track, and teams aligned from mobilisation through to final acceptance. You represent GE Vernova to the client, the authorities, and every stakeholder on site — and your leadership directly determines whether a project closes out on time, on budget, and with the reputation of GE Vernova intact. You will be attaining complete knowledge of the site execution plan, time schedule, scope of supply / work, major subcontracts, budget and account structure, status of documentation, EHS plan, site staffing plan, applicable local regulations, restrictions etc. Job Description What You'll Do Lead all site activities across the full project lifecycle — from site mobilisation and infrastructure setup through installation, commissioning trials, and acceptance testing. Own site safety: execute and uphold GE Vernova's Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policy and the site-specific EHS plan, and actively build a safety-first culture across all site personnel, subcontractors, and partners. Manage the site schedule, cost control, and progress reporting — delivering daily, weekly, and monthly updates and taking proactive action to protect key milestones and budgets. Direct and develop the full site team, including GE Vernova staff and subcontractors — conducting regular meetings, managing performance assessments, and maintaining high team morale. Represent GE Vernova with the client and local authorities — managing the customer relationship throughout execution and ensuring issues are resolved with professionalism and speed. Oversee site Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), document control systems, and subcontract closeout, ensuring costs are allocated fairly and commercial exposure to GE Vernova is minimised. Who You Are You are a senior site professional who has seen a hydropower or heavy-infrastructure project through from the ground up — and you know how to lead people, manage risk, and keep things moving when the unexpected happens. Required Degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification 15+ years of experience in hydropower plant site management, spanning both construction and commissioning phases Demonstrated ability to manage multi-discipline site teams, subcontractors, and client relationships simultaneously Proven track record of delivering complex projects to schedule and budget Strong communicator — able to engage confidently with clients, local authorities, and internal teams at all levels Preferred Broader field experience across the power generation industry Demonstrated skill in commercial negotiation and subcontract management Experience managing site execution in international or multi-regulatory environments Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: Yes
