In this role developers are expected to apply their foundational programming knowledge, problem-solving skills, and familiarity with development tools in a practical setting. They should be able to write clean, maintainable code under guidance, contribute to tasks within a project, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt. Collaboration with team members and responsiveness to feedback are key traits, as is a growing understanding of software development processes and best practices. What you’ll be doing: Designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable applications using modern engineering techniques and cloud native approaches. Working closely with users and product owners. Implementing automated test strategies and driving debugging and performance optimisation across the stack. Collaborative problem solving in an inclusive, positive environment. What we are looking for: Experience designing and delivering production ready software, taking ownership of work and contributing across the stack where needed. Proficiency in C# Experience working with Git, and Azure or AWS Experience working on and with APIs of various kinds (e.g. REST, GraphQL) Ideal but not essential: experience working with Terraform or CDK Ideal but not essential: experience working with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools A proactive, curious mindset with a commitment to communication, improving team practices, and supporting inclusive collaboration.
