The Opportunity As a Specialist Endocrinologist, you will have the opportunity to provide a broad range of specialist services while contributing to the ongoing development of endocrinology across the region.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Providing specialist outpatient endocrinology clinics
- Inpatient endocrinology consultation services
- Delivering evidence-based, patient-centred specialist care
- Working collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
- Participating in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement
- Contributing to clinical guidelines and contemporary models of care
- Teaching and mentoring medical students, junior doctors and allied health professionals
- Participating in research and academic activities through an established university partnership
- Contributing to the development and expansion of endocrinology services
- Supporting a culture of clinical excellence, education and continuous improvement

About You We are seeking an experienced Specialist Endocrinologist who is committed to delivering high-quality specialist care and contributing to the continued development of regional health services.
You Will Have
- Specialist registration, or eligibility for specialist registration, with AHPRA
- Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Endocrinology, or an equivalent specialist qualification
- Demonstrated specialist experience in Endocrinology
- A strong commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centred care
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
- An interest in teaching and mentoring
- An interest in research, clinical governance and service development
- A commitment to continuing professional development
