Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon to join our leading healthcare facility. The successful candidate will provide high-quality orthopedic care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions. This role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent surgical skills, and a patient-focused approach to delivering comprehensive orthopedic services. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting bones, joints, muscles, ligaments, and tendons. Perform orthopedic surgical procedures according to clinical expertise and patient requirements. Develop comprehensive treatment plans based on patient evaluation, imaging findings, and evidence-based clinical guidelines. Manage acute injuries, fractures, sports injuries, degenerative joint conditions, and musculoskeletal disorders. Perform pre-operative assessments, surgical procedures, and post-operative follow-up care. Interpret diagnostic investigations, including X-rays, MRI, CT scans, and other relevant studies. Provide conservative and surgical treatment options tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborate with physiotherapists, radiologists, pain specialists, rehabilitation teams, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to optimal patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, recovery expectations, and preventive care. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and departmental meetings. Support training and knowledge-sharing activities for junior medical staff when required. Maintain the highest standards of patient safety, medical ethics, and clinical excellence. Medical degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Completion of recognized postgraduate training in Orthopedic Surgery. Board Certification, Fellowship, or equivalent specialist qualification in Orthopedic Surgery. Minimum of 3–5 years of post-specialty clinical experience in orthopedic surgery. Strong experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of orthopedic conditions. Proven surgical expertise in relevant orthopedic procedures. Experience in trauma, joint disorders, sports injuries, or reconstructive orthopedic surgery is preferred. Excellent clinical judgment, surgical skills, and decision-making abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients and healthcare teams. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, and continuous professional development. Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Attractive performance-based incentives.
