The Opportunity Sante Recruitment is seeking an experienced
Consultant Radiologist / Specialist Medical Practitioner to join a progressive Tasmanian public health service on a
permanent full-time basis.

The position is a
day worker role with on-call responsibilities, with up to
76 hours per fortnight and flexibility around the working arrangement by negotiation.
The Role You will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services across a broad range of modalities, working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary medical and radiology team.
The service provides exposure to a diverse clinical workload, with opportunities to work across:
- CT
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Plain X-ray
- General diagnostic radiology
- Tier A interventional procedures
- Basic diagnostic angiography
Experience across multiple modalities is highly desirable, with the opportunity to utilise and further develop your clinical expertise.
The Remuneration An Attractive Overall Package Is Available, Including
- Base salary: $222,789 – $305,539 p.a. pro rata
- 12% superannuation
- Market allowance of $54,000 – $95,000
- 35% Private Practice Scheme or equivalent allowance
- CPD allowance of $17,483 p.a. pro rata
- Salary packaging, including up to $9,010 living expenses
- Up to $2,650 meals and entertainment
- Fully maintained private vehicle or vehicle allowance of $30,254 p.a. pro rata

About You To be considered, you will have:
- Specialist registration with AHPRA, or eligibility for specialist registration
- Fellowship of the RANZCR, or an equivalent recognised overseas specialist qualification
- Alternatively, be an IMG eligible for the Specialist Pathway
- Demonstrated experience in diagnostic radiology
- Experience across CT, MRI, ultrasound and plain X-ray highly regarded
- Competence in Tier A interventional procedures, including basic diagnostic angiography, desirable
- A commitment to high-quality patient care and multidisciplinary teamwork
International Medical Graduates This position may suit
Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs) who hold a recognised overseas radiology qualification and have sufficient relevant specialist experience.
Doctors who are currently progressing through the
RANZCR specialist assessment pathway are encouraged to enquire regarding their eligibility.
