Your Role: Conduct assessments and provide speech therapy interventions for residents with communication, swallowing, and cognitive needs. Create individualized therapy plans in collaboration with our interdisciplinary care team. Educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies to enhance speech and swallowing function. Celebrate each milestone with residents as they work toward their goals! What We’re Looking For: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and valid Oregon state license. Passion for helping others improve their quality of life. Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. A sense of humor, a big heart, and a love for coastal living! Requirements Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology required. Licenses/Certification: Current license in Speech Language Therapy as required by state law. Valid CPR certification required. Experience: Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. Note: All employees of Cascadia Healthcare are required to submit and be cleared to work in the facility per each state’s specific background check requirements prior to contact with patients/residents.
