Salary: £39,439.00 - £44,063.00 per annum (Term-time only actual salary)

About the Role

Cpl UK Healthcare is recruiting a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist for a permanent position based in Shepherds Bush, London. This role involves working with children with moderate to complex autism, delivering high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy within a specialist paediatric setting. Visa sponsorship is available for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out assessments and deliver tailored speech and language therapy interventions for children with moderate to complex autism
• Develop, implement, and review individual therapy and communication plans
• Work closely with families, carers, teaching staff, and the wider multi-disciplinary team to support each child's communication needs
• Provide training, guidance, and support to school staff and parents/carers on communication strategies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with RCSLT and HCPC standards
• Contribute to service development and best practice within the paediatric autism caseload

Requirements

• Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• HCPC registration (essential)
• RCSLT membership (desirable)
• Experience working with children with autism, particularly moderate to complex presentations
• Experience within a paediatric or education setting is desirable
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
• Strong communication and multi-disciplinary teamworking skills
