We are seeking experienced Industrial Cleaners to join a unique defence program based in Rockingham, Western Australia. This permanent full-time role includes an exceptional opportunity to undertake specialist training for approximately 15 months at Pearl Harbour, Hawaii before returning to Rockingham, Perth to contribute long-term to Australian Navy projects. YOUR TEAM Our Underwater Systems team are proud to support the Royal Australian Navy, providing integrated mission-critical solutions to below-surface platforms. With access to some of the world’s most advanced technologies, our people enable naval forces around the world with our state-of-the-art Sonar and undersea combat systems. YOUR ROLE As an SSN Industrial Cleaner you will be involved with Virgina Class Submarine maintenance and support activities.This role is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, preservation and detailing activities associated with hazardous and radiologically access-controlled (reactor) compartments, equipment and materials in support of Virginia Class Submarine maintenance activities. The role supports nuclear safety, regulatory compliance and operational readiness requirements at PHNSY.
