Hunter New England Imaging Service is looking for an experienced Interventional Radiology Consultants to join their team. Previous experience and Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology is essential.
Responsibilities
You will be committed to providing high quality, compassionate medical care while effectively collaborating with fellow colleagues to provide the best possible service that engenders high levels of patient satisfaction and experience. You will be responsible for:
- Consultative, diagnostic and interventional radiology procedural specialty services as determined and required by HNELHD.
- Undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- Participation in quality improvement activities, professional development and continuing education.
Hunter New England Imaging comprises of the Divisions of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine which together provide a complete range of training modalities including General Radiology, Fluoroscopy, Tomography, Angiography, Interventional Procedures, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine and PET.
Applicants who hold specialist qualifications outside Australia may be eligible to practise through the
Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) Defined Scope of Practice pathway, which provides an alternative specialist registration pathway for suitably qualified radiologists.
