Introduction: Job Bridge Global is excited to present this opportunity for skilled Stick and TIG Welders to work and live in the UK under a Skilled Worker Visa. There are multiple openings for many live projects and successful welders will end up working on landmark projects across the UK. All successful candidates will have to complete and pass a Trade Test in Jamaica before being offered a job. There are strict requirements. In order to be eligible for shortlisting for this Trade Test in Jamaica, you must meet the requirements below. Essential Requirements: This job requires extremely experienced and talented Stick and TIG Welders. You must have or be: Must be a competent Stick and TIG welder. Do not apply if you can only do one. Minimum 5 years experience. Do not apply if you have less. Have a smart phone that you can use and an email address that isn't at capacity. A large element of 'surviving' in the UK requires use of a Smartphone. A Completely Clean Police Record (COC). You will not pass the security clearance without it. Training Certificates. Resume. Must be up to date. Must not be a scanned image. If your CV only has job titles for each experience, you need to add more. You must expand on what you were welding, what project you were on, what types of welds, what types of materials, what dimension/diameter of materials, achievements. Work History - must be up to date and accurate. Gaps need to be accounted for. Everything needs to be dated from and to. It's a requirement for the security checking. References. Must be real, they will be checked by the UK Police force for security checking. The Employer: Our client operates within multiple sectors including Oil & Gas, Construction, and Nuclear. You could work on a range of projects ensuring high standards of workmanship are maintained. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols, and specifications. Perform Stick and TIG welding on various metals, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards. Set up welding machines and equipment and maintain them in safe working order. Conduct quality control checks and inspections on completed welds for conformity. Collaborate effectively with project teams and other trades to ensure successful project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, complying with safety regulations and procedures. Assist in training and guiding less experienced welders when necessary. Keep accurate records of work completed, materials used, and hours worked. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven experience as a Stick and TIG Welder in a similar industrial setting. Valid welding certifications or equivalent qualifications. Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Experience working with various metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and carbon steel. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Good communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different job sites as needed. Outstanding salary in UK Visa Fees covered and travel to the UK.
