Store Manager- Bench

We’re always looking for experienced Thrift Store Managers to join our growing team! Qualified candidates should have prior thrift retail experience and a minimum of 3 years of store management experience, along with a proven track record of leading teams, driving results, and delivering exceptional customer service. Our stores are located in NC, TN, GA, FLA and MS. City Thrift provides relocation assistance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.

As a Store Manager in Training, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of all supervisors and team members in accordance with policies and applicable laws. This includes implementing and administering company programs, policies and procedures designed to support the company.

• Represent the company and store within the community and act as a liaison.
• Ensure company records are completed, organized, retained, and safeguarded in accordance with company policy and procedure and applicable laws.
• Ensure standards are met on all levels from each department and the OSHA, compliance with EEOC, and DOT.
• Ability to manage a group of 30-40 people.
• Ability to manage the financial assets of the store and achieve monthly budget in sales and expense categories.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• At least 3 years of retail experience; thrift experience is plus!
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated ability to think and act as a business owner within the retail sector
• Effective in making decisions and influencing outcomes
• Must clear background and drug screening
• Bilingual is a plus! (English/Spanish)
