The Team You're Joining

The Strategy Team is a core unit at SFOC, responsible for shaping each program's campaign strategy and medium to long term direction in order to accelerate energy transition and raise climate ambition across the Asia-Pacific region.
We also communicate SFOC's campaign achievements persuasively to external stakeholders and manage donor relations and grants.

How You'll Contribute

Work with leadership and relevant teams to identify the organization's short and long term goals
Support the updating and management of organization-wide objectives, outcomes, and KPIs
Support the writing of strategic and business plans
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate our campaign initiatives to external stakeholders
Conduct research and analysis on opportunities, risks, and trends to improve campaign strategies
Support the improvement and implementation of organization-wide strategic planning processes
Support alignment of team level strategies and goals in collaboration with relevant teams
Develop, implement, and manage a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) framework
Research data analysis methods for measuring performance
Update and manage the performance monitoring database and support reporting

Who We're Looking For

Korean: native level or full professional proficiency in writing and verbal communication
English: working level proficiency in writing and verbal communication
18+ months of relevant work experience
Strong passion for climate action and energy transition
Detail oriented, well organized, and able to meet deadlines
Critical and strategic thinking ability
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Strategic networking and relationship management skills
Strong adaptability and multitasking ability in a fast paced environment
A teamwork and collaboration mindset
A strong sense of ownership
Respect for diversity and an inclusive organizational culture
Deep understanding of and respect for SFOC's mission, vision, and values

Nice to Have

Proficiency with strategic planning or OKR/KPI related software
Experience in strategic planning processes at non-profit or other public interest/philanthropic organizations, with data driven decision making experience
Experience in data processing, database management, and data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, SPSS, Excel)
Experience working at non-profit or philanthropic organizations
Background or work experience related to climate change or energy transition
