Subcontractor Programme Manager We are expanding our teams in the procurement and purchasing sector and looking for a subcontractor programme manager to take on managing our projects. Based at either of our two German offices. We´ll get to the point; we'll tell you what's not on the web. If you want to know more about us go to GMV website WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON? You will lead the establishment and management of programme consortiums, including subcontractor and partner engagement. Manage contract negotiation, execution, and ongoing commercial relationships to ensure successful programme delivery. Oversee the full programme lifecycle, maintaining control of schedules, risks, deliverables, compliance requirements, contractual obligations, and payment milestones. Provide programme leadership and governance, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with customer and regulatory requirements. Support engineering teams in the flow-down and management of technical requirements, facilitating key design, validation, and technical review activities. Coordinate and oversee project reviews, technical meetings, progress reviews, audits, and stakeholder engagements, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all parties. Act as the primary interface with subcontractors and consortium partners, monitoring performance, managing risks, and driving successful outcomes. Ensure robust programme reporting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement throughout project execution WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM? We are looking for applicants with the following experience and knowledge: Project management: At least 5 years experience covering systems and SW engineering within space or similar domains. Proven experience on project and/or technical management - Systems/SW Engineering methodologies and standards Experience on Space Ground Control or Navigation projects - Management and Leadership skills Capability to understand, review and negotiate contractual terms We would value experience and knowledge in the below: PMP or similar qualifications will be considerd a valuable asset. Working knowledge of a third EU language (e.g. Spanish, French,...)
