Substation Engineer Lead (Power Systems / MV Distribution)  Location: Canton, OH (Relocation Available) Seeking a hands-on Power Systems Engineer to support and improve a large industrial power distribution network. This is a plant-based role with direct ownership — not consulting. What You'll Do Support medium-voltage systems (4kV–35kV) across the facility Work with substations, switchgear, and relay protection systems Troubleshoot electrical issues and lead root cause analysis Drive reliability improvements and infrastructure upgrades Partner with operations, maintenance, and contractors What We're Looking For Experience with medium/high voltage power distribution Background in relays, protection, or substations Hands-on troubleshooting in an industrial or utility environment Electrical Engineering (or related) degree Typical Backgrounds Utilities / T&D Heavy manufacturing Metals Chemical Energy Why This Role Own a mission-critical power system supporting major operations High visibility + direct impact on uptime and performance Opportunity to lead modernization projects Relocation available If you've worked with MV distribution, substations, or relays in a real operating environment, we'd welcome a conversation.
