Base Salary: $145,000 – $150,000 USD**

About the Role – Skyline Recruitment

Skyline Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading gold producer to appoint a Superintendent, Resource Geology for a flagship underground operation in Nevada.

This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing resource modelling, estimation, and reconciliation, while working closely with mine planning and operations teams to drive informed production decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Resource Geology team on site
• Oversee resource modelling, estimation, and regular updates
• Drive reconciliation processes and continuous model improvement
• Collaborate closely with mine planning and operations
• Ensure best practices in geostatistics, data integrity, and QA/QC
• Support technical reporting and long-term resource strategy
• Contribute to operational and strategic decision-making

What We’re Looking For

• 10–15+ years of experience in resource geology within mining
• Strong background in underground mining environments
• Proven expertise in resource estimation and geostatistics
• Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Proficiency with industry software (Leapfrog, Vulcan, Surpac, etc.)
• Strong understanding of reconciliation and model validation
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technically complex operation
