Join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor, where you will lead Electrical Shutdown teams, Technical Officers, in planning and executing shutdown maintenance activities while ensuring consistent application of asset management processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and safety of our assets. Reporting to the Superintendent Fixed Plant Maintenance, you will manage and supervise Electrical Shutdown teams, Technical Officers, in maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently. You will allocate maintenance coverage for shutdowns and resolve on-the-job issues related to planned maintenance activities and shutdowns. Additionally, you will monitor working practices and adherence to safety procedures to ensure the safety of employees working in the area. Located on the Western Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, each year the operation produces more than 35 million tons of bauxite. Our operations are supported by a 1,900-strong workforce—including 26 per cent who are women and 25 per cent Indigenous employees. Activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, ports, cultural heritage management, and processing facility management.
