Overview This position is at Richmond Hill Medical Home near Fort Stewart, GA. Supervisory Physician (Family Practice) SALARY : $145,000 - $320,000 per year This is an employed civilian Supervisory Physician Family Practice position that affords job security, a competitive base salary, bonuses, moving expenses, full malpractice coverage, 2 weeks paid vacation, 11 days paid Federal Holidays, a sick leave benefit, CME opportunities, and a first-class health and retirement benefit package. . Winn Army Community Hospital is a 112-bed community hospital which will feature a new Women’s Health and Mammography Center. Our healthcare team provides primary and specialty care for a patient population of over 70,000. As a civilian family practice physician you will play an integral role in providing exceptional healthcare to the Soldiers and Families in our great Army and the 3rd Infantry Division. Key supporting specialties at Winn include OB/Gyn, general and orthopedic surgery, EENT, Psychiatry, Dermatology, and Urology. Multiple top notch universities are in the area including Georgia Southern University, Armstrong Atlantic State University, and the Savannah College of Art and Design. Many of our physicians enjoy living in the upscale suburbs of Savannah including Richmond Hill, Pooler, and Hinesville, and many of these locations include direct deep water access. These are quintessential small town communities with close access to the city of Savannah. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Physician (Family Practice) you will: Provide comprehensive primary care for infants, children, youth, and adults according to current standards of care, the patient centered medical home model of care, and Army policy and relevant regulations. Lead a multi-disciplinary team of individuals who collectively take responsibility for the ongoing care of patients. Coordinate care across all elements of the healthcare system (e.g., subspecialty care, hospitals, home health agencies, nursing homes) and the patient's community (e.g., family, public and private community-based services). Teach and provide consultation to other health care providers as assigned. Identify developmental and training needs of employees; provide and/or arrange for needed development and training. Completes required records pertaining to all medical services provided in accordance with specified procedures and regulations. Supervise other health care providers as assigned. Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees. Provide technical oversight of other health care providers as assigned. Develop performance plans and rate employees. Qualifications US Citizenship required Board Eligible/Certified Must possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physician from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
