Job Title : Supplier Quality Engineer Work Schedule: Onsite – Blacksburg, VA Moog Space and Defense Group is the operating group with the longest heritage at Moog. Our team in Space & Defense is looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join them. You will report to the Supplier Quality Manager and will have an onsite work schedule in Blacksburg, Virginia. To be considered for Supplier Quality Engineer you will need: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing or a two year technical degree with 5 years of quality/machining experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience using Microsoft Office Experience functioning in a team-based manufacturing environment Willingness to travel up to 25% annually sometimes with short notice (domestic travel and occasionally internationally). Preferred experience in identifying, evaluating and developing new suppliers. Preferred experience in resolving and improving quality, scheduling, and performance related issues.
