Set the Stage Pre-Op: Confirm cases, meet patients, walk them through procedures, gather documentation, and coordinate closely with OR staff. Deliver in the OR: Support patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, anticipate the surgeon's next move, and work in sync with the surgical team. Follow Through Post-Op: Assist with patient transfer, deliver thorough PACU handoffs, and complete documentation with precision.
