Job purpose We are looking for a motivated engineering professional with passion to controls hardware and software to join our Controls & Automation Software Department in Krakow Engineering Center. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will be cooperating closely with multiple teams spread across the globe and working on controls systems for our subsea control platforms. The main function of this role will be defining, implementing, and executing the SW tests according to the acceptance criteria for the specifications of a feature. On this level it is expected the candidate is able to contribute to define the test and quality assurance strategy. Job descripton • Prepare and document test activities (including Test Plan and Test Reports preparation) • CI/CD (establish processes, pipelines and elements, manage tools, version control, QA tool chain) • Define test data/configuration sets • Configure test environment • Adapt, develop and execute automated test scripts (Data Driven Development) • Troubleshoot problem, isolate and track defects • Automated Test scripts integration with DevOps Engineers on CI/CD • Maintain data sets and configuration • Cooperation with developers and product Quality Engineers • Participate in the requirements analysis and definition of the test specifications at project level Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field Technical skills Ability to create test cases based on functional and technical requirements Python Test automation Familiarity with OT/IT integration concepts, industrial networks, and cybersecurity practices is a plus Experience with industrial control systems and automation technologies is a plus Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) Understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Proxmox VE Experience with network configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting in enterprise or industrial environments Soft skills Analytical thinking and attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment Proactive attitude and ownership of assigned tasks Please note that this role requires to work min 4 days/week from our office in Krakow Your future at TechnipFMC Opportunity to be involved in international projects for a leading oil and gas companies Challenges and personal development Varied and interesting work tasks in an inspiring, international engineering environment Competitive salary and a package of benefits Relocation package An informal and stimulating work environment with a high professional standard Interested?
