You understand how talent practices drive business results and are skilled at translating organizational needs into practical, scalable solutions that support both employees and leaders. You are equally comfortable working with frontline leaders, senior executives, and HR partners to influence decisions, guide talent discussions, and build processes that create a culture of growth, and accountability. You bring an open-minded approach using a balance of data, insights, and strong relationships to drive meaningful outcomes across the organization. In this role you will lead Weyerhaeuser's Talent Management team, owning the design of our system tools and partnering closely with leaders across Operations and Staff Functions to build a high-performing workforce. You will be responsible for strategy, execution, governance, and continuous improvement of talent processes including Goal Planning, Performance Reviews, Personal Development, Talent Assessment, and Coaching & Feedback. As a trusted advisor to business leaders, you will help create alignment between talent priorities and business objectives, while ensuring employees have clear expectations, meaningful development opportunities, and the support needed to grow their careers. Note: We are in the process of migrating to UKG Pro as our new cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) system. The successful candidate for this role will assist in this system implementation, which will go live later this year, and then serve as the primary system administrator for Talent Management tools going forward (see more detailed responsibilities below). Primary Responsibilities: · Contribute to the design, execution, governance, and continuous improvement of enterprise Talent Management programs · Partner with senior leaders across Operations and Staff Functions to identify talent priorities and develop solutions that support business objectives · Provide consultation and guidance to leaders on performance management, career development, talent assessment, coaching & feedback, and succession planning · Develop and maintain frameworks, tools, and resources that support meaningful performance and development conversations across the organization · Partner closely with the Learning and Development team to align talent initiatives with leadership development, employee training, and capability-building strategies · Use talent data and organizational insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring action or investment · Drive adoption and effectiveness of talent programs through communications, leader coaching, stakeholder engagement, and change management · Lead annual and cyclical talent processes while ensuring consistency, accountability, and a positive employee experience · Monitor program effectiveness and recommend enhancements that improve business outcomes and employee growth · Develop and deliver presentations, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership regarding talent trends, workforce capability, and organizational needs · Lead and develop Talent Management team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and service-oriented support for business partners Qualifications Bachelor's degree or above Experience designing Talent Management programs, including performance management, employee development, talent assessment, and leadership development initiatives Hands-on experience with enterprise Human Capital Management systems (preferably UKG or similar platforms) 5+ years’ experience partnering with business leaders to solve talent-related challenges Demonstrated experience partnering with subject matter experts and third parties to identify and recommend new HR solutions or improvements to existing solutions Experience analyzing talent data and translating insights into actionable recommendations Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to influence and build credibility across multiple levels of the organization Experience leading complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities Preferred Strong understanding of modern Talent Management technologies and tools, specifically with UKG Pro Experience leading Talent Management programs within a large, multi-site organization Experience implementing or enhancing enterprise talent processes Experience partnering closely with Learning and Development functions to align talent and capability-building strategies About Weyerhaeuser We sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place. Compensation : This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $108,000 to $160,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target. Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours.
