Job Description Summary Team Lead Instrumentation & Control Maintenance is responsible for managing all aspects of Instrumentation & Control Maintenance of complete plant through Contractor’s Staff and/or Customer’s Workforce to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations. Job Description Key Responsibilities To provide leadership to the maintenance team (Instrument & Control) in the day to day maintenance activities. To develop, supervise and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities. To plan and inspect the completed work on plant equipment. To maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work. To acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical and electrical systems throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and lead the maintenance team in resolving the issue. To promote development and succession management in Instrument & Control Section. To train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance. To communicate effectively with managers, peers and team fellows , both verbally and in writing. To execute work order through CMMS and co-ordinate with I&C Team for job completion and technical matters. To assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan. To assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions. To co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for inventory management. To control plant inventory via CMMS system (Maximo). To acquire full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance. To evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping. To assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor on all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits. To ensure compliance in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures as applicable to the maintenance activities. To develop training schedules/plans for Engineers and technicians in I&C section. To control all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents. To assign preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians as per the direction of Maintenance Manager. To lead the set up and operation of site I&C lab Any other job assigned to him/her by management. Required Qualifications Graduate Engineer in Instrumentation & Control from an accredited College or University. Minimum 8 years of combined cycle power plant O&M experience with minimum 5 years in team lead position in plant maintenance. Minimum three years of O&M experience at GE Vernova F Class Gas Turbines is a must Desired Characteristics Strong project management, problem solving and organizational skills Strong business and financial skills Experience of costing, planning and managing plant outages Experience of costing, planning and managing plant outages Prior experience with GE O&M in same capacity is preferred Knowledge of GE products, services, and processes (GE employees only) Prior customer interface experience Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Proficiency with computer tools Understanding of Computerized Maintenance Management System(CMMS) like Maximo.
