Job Title Team Leader Job Description The Team Leader provides direction and support to operators, assigns work based on management priorities, communicates goals, monitors progress, and motivates the team. Your role: Inspects the product by conducting thorough quality checks according to specified instructions, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards throughout the production process. Reports any disruptions or deviations in the production process to the Manufacturing group leader, facilitating swift resolution and minimizing operational disruptions. Adheres to the compliance of components, parts, and documents with quality specifications before advancing to subsequent stages of the process, ensuring product integrity and quality assurance. Proposes and implements improvements aimed at enhancing quality, productivity, and the overall work environment, contributing to continuous enhancement in operational efficiency. Operates and oversees all relevant machinery, tools, and equipment within the manufacturing group, executing standard and complex production tasks in strict accordance with instructions. You're the right fit if: You’ve acquired 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, leading a team is preferred Your skills include environmental health and safety knowledge, manufacturing principles, digital literacy, machine operations, quality monitoring, recordkeeping, precision machining, equipment set-up, process improvements, trouble-shooting, root cause analysis, and manufacturing schematics You have a high school diploma, vocational training or equivalent. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This is an onsite role. Philips Transparency Details The pay range for this position in Latham, NY is $21.67 to $34.67 plus a weekly stipend of $120. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered.
