INTRODUCTION We are looking for an experienced Teamlead SEO ( f/m/x ) to lead our SEO team and drive sustainable organic growth across Bonial’s web platforms. As Teamlead SEO, you will be responsible for the organic performance of www.kaufda.de , www.meinprospekt.de , and www.bonial.fr . You will work on large-scale SEO and CRO challenges, including millions of URLs, local search, retailer and product pages, technical SEO, content quality, internal linking, indexing and conversion optimization. In this role, you will report directly to the Head of Web Growth & CRM . You will lead and develop the SEO team, define the SEO roadmap, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and work closely with Product, Engineering, Data & the Editorial team to grow Bonial’s organic reach and business impact. Your responsibilities: You lead the SEO team in their daily work by setting priorities, giving feedback, supporting development, and enabling measurable SEO impact. In collaboration with the Head of Web Growth & CRM and P&D, you actively contribute to defining and prioritizing the SEO roadmap and take ownership of driving its implementation across Bonial’s web platforms. You work closely with Product, Engineering, Data, and Editorial Content on scalable SEO improvements. You optimize key page types and explore new organic growth opportunities in AI-driven search environments. You identify and solve technical SEO challenges around crawling, indexing, rendering, internal linking, site architecture & structured data. You monitor SEO performance, evaluate experiments, and translate insights into clear recommendations. You monitor search trends, Google updates, and market developments to keep Bonial’s SEO strategy future-proof. Your profile: You have several years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally with large-scale websites or platforms with many URLs. You have experience leading people, mentoring SEO specialists, or coordinating SEO work across teams. You are able to motivate and empower others, creating a team environment built on ownership, feedback, and continuous improvement. You have strong technical SEO knowledge, including crawling, indexing, site architecture, structured data, JavaScript, page speed, internal linking, and templates. You have a strong understanding of content SEO, local SEO, programmatic SEO, and scalable landing page strategies. You are confident working with SEO tools, analytics platforms, dashboards, and large datasets. You are analytical, structured, proactive, and comfortable making decisions based on data, testing, and business impact. You are a strong communicator and can explain complex SEO topics clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are fluent in English. German and/or French language skills are a strong plus. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, log file analysis, SQL, Python, or data visualization tools is a strong plus.
