Marketing Effectiveness / MMM – Account Manager

Salary: Up to $140,000 USD + 10% bonus + stock options

The Data Gals is partnering with a high growth technology business that is transforming how organisations understand marketing performance and make investment decisions.

This is a highly client facing role sitting at the intersection of Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM), marketing analytics, technology and consulting. You’ll work directly with established brands, helping them understand complex marketing effectiveness analysis and turn insights into clear commercial recommendations.

The Role

We’re looking for someone who combines strong MMM / marketing science knowledge with excellent client management skills. You might currently be working as an Account Manager, Client Partner, Marketing Science Consultant, MMM Consultant, Marketing Effectiveness Consultant or similar, and enjoy being the person who connects technical teams with senior business stakeholders.

You don't need to be the person building every model yourself. What matters is that you understand the principles behind MMM and marketing effectiveness, can confidently discuss analytical outputs, and can translate technical findings into something a client can act on.

What You'll Be Doing

• Manage a portfolio of existing client accounts and build strong, long term relationships.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout their engagement.
• Work closely with technical and data science teams to ensure client projects are delivered successfully.
• Help clients understand MMM results, marketing performance and investment recommendations.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, commercially relevant presentations and recommendations.
• Lead client meetings and present insights to senior marketing and analytics stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to increase platform adoption, expand existing relationships and deliver additional value.
• Support onboarding, training and ongoing client education.
• Work with internal teams to resolve data, modelling and implementation challenges.
• Bring customer feedback into product and analytics teams to help shape future developments.
• Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, marketing strategy and measurement requirements.
• Help demonstrate the commercial value of marketing effectiveness and data driven decision making.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Marketing Mix Modelling (MMM)
• Marketing effectiveness
• Marketing science
• Measurement / attribution
• Media analytics
• Data driven marketing
• Consulting

You could come from an agency, consultancy, technology company or client side environment.

Most importantly, you're comfortable working directly with customers and can operate confidently between technical and commercial conversations.

We're particularly interested in people who:

• Have a solid understanding of MMM and marketing measurement.
• Can understand and explain modelling outputs without needing to be the person building the models.
• Have experience managing client or customer relationships.
• Are confident presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Can turn complex analytical concepts into simple, actionable recommendations.
• Are commercially minded and able to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Enjoy working collaboratively with data scientists, analysts and technical teams.
• Are comfortable working in a fast moving technology environment.
• Have strong communication and presentation skills.
• Are genuinely interested in how AI and technology are changing marketing science.
